This bracelet is made of 9 Tagua beads, each measuring approximately 1 inch wide (2 cm) by 1 1/4 inches long ( 3 cm). It's strung by 2 rows of strong elastic. This bracelet has a circumference of about 2 inches.
All of our jewelry comes directly from Ecuador, where it has been made by local artisans.

Alejandra's pieces are beautiful and well-priced; this purchase was my third. But one segment of the red bracelet had a black corner where color didn't take, presumably a natural occurrence of the nut. She was willing to take it back but I discovered that the cost to ship plus shipping for replacement was nearly the cost of the bracelet in the first place, so I decided not to do it. I recommended that she either alert customers with a general statement about the possibility of such effects (if really common) or simply not use segments like that.If the look of the piece were truly natural, it wouldn't be a big deal at all. However the shaping and bright color of Alejandra's jewelry - which are the essence of its appeal - contradict naturalism.
I'm looking forward to wearing this very pretty pop of color bracelet with my black outfits.
